Physical Education at Montlake

PE at Montlake gives students a chance to explore and enjoy the benefits of physical activity. Through games and practice time, students learn how activity positively impacts their bodies and well-being. Like skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and problem solving skills are all developed and tested each class. Units and lessons are created using the Washington physical education standards as a base.

PE at Montlake is taught by Isabelle Auty. Isabelle is National Board Certified in PE and has a Master’s in Education. This is her 8th year teaching PE! She lives nearby with her husband and 1 year old daughter, Penelope. Every weekend in the winter, you can find them at Stevens Pass snowboarding.
