Joshua Mattson – Musical Educator

I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University’s Music Education program. I bring a dynamic blend of Orff and Kodály techniques to my role as music teacher and choir director at Montlake. I have a passion for nurturing young talents, and foster creativity, confidence, and musical literacy in my students.

Having played in professional musical groups of various genres all my life, my versatility enriches my teaching, offering students a diverse musical experience. Under my guidance, students perform at school concerts and community events through the year, spreading the joy of music far and wide.

My commitment to empowering young musicians and instilling a love for music shines through in my classroom, leaving a lasting impact on student’s lives.
